Eagles breakdown Week IV

Forgive blogger but I'm going to have to spread this breakdown out over several post, it limits me on how much I can post each time.

Week III vs the Giants, the Eagles first game at home in a division game.  The Giants aggressive defense with a injury depleted secondary did a excellent job baiting Vick and that line to get the edge in pressure.

9:00 in the 1st quarter with Eagles inside the redzone at the Giants 19 on 3rd and 6.  The Giants show one 5 defenders coming with 5 blockers to block them.

However the Giants end up sending both their LBs which should free up the middle of the field for a easy 3rd down conversion.  The issue is Vick looks to his TE for the quick play but the safety sits on that route taking that option away.

Vick evades the pressure only to move to his second read, the slot WR to his left running an fake in and out pattern. The WR bobbles the catch and ends up a Giants turnover in the redzone.

The below play occurs late in the first quarter on a 3rd and long, "Pro-Bowler" Jason Peters matched up versus Jason Pierre-Paul, he explodes off the snap and Peters, a better run blocker than pass protector is a step slower. Vick gets away from him but Pierre-Paul doesn't quit on the play and gets the sack.
